I can't say enough good things about The Well and all the amazing women there. We are truly blessed to have such a great resource for women in our area. April is an absolute angel! She helped me through some pretty tough times. She knows a little bit about a lot of things and a whole lot about helping women and babies.
After seeing a handful of Physical Therapists, Becky
was definitely the most helpful. I tried for YEARS to get the proper help that I needed. Becky was the first PT
to really take the time to listen to me. I left her office
the most hopeful I had been since I had my child over two years ago. After only a couple of short months of doing the recommended exercises every day, I was back to feeling like myself again.
As a Mom, I find it sometimes hard to make my health needs a priority. Dr. Parr making house calls made it easy for me to fit PT into my schedule. When I returned to running after my last baby, I had trouble with my hip and Dr. Parr was able to provide me with a home exercise program that allowed me to continue running and ultimately meet my goal of completing another half marathon.
From the moment I walked into The Well, I felt like I belonged there and that this group of women would
truly take the best care of me. April is like no other
and a true gem in Dayton.
I went to see Dr. Erin of Resilience PT after several years of chronic and increasingly painful back pain (little did I realize how much my pelvic floor was the real culprit!). I went to her as a "last ditch effort" on the advice of my daughter, who kept telling me I needed a pelvic floor PT. I was losing hope that what I had was "real" or 'treatable.' Dr. Erin listened intently to my years of history, acknowledged and validated my worries, and assured me that my goals of yoga, tennis, and running were not unattainable. Since working with her, I have learned to recognize and 'treat' my own tension - I've built strength, and more importantly, I've regained my own confidence. Since March, I've run a 10k, two 5k's, taught yoga weekly, and played tennis weekly with NO flare-ups. My only regret? I didn't find her 20 years ago. She is gifted in skill, compassionate in treatment, and I am so very grateful to have her as a PT.
